The PolyRED expansion tank comes pre-insulated and pre-installed with all necessary components (vent pipe sleeve, screened warning pipe, 1/2" BS1212 Part 2 Ball Valve assembly, 15mm push fit tank connector and 15mm x 1/2" angled service valve).
The included insulation has been tested and conforms to BS4213: 2004. The insulation provides the tank with improved heat retention against alternative methods of insulation.
As all necessary components are pre-fit to the tank, installation takes no time at all. No additional drilling is required to keep mess to a minimum.
Please note that this product is a returned item and as such there may be cosmetic damage to the unit caused in transit such as scratches, dents or scuffs. The packaging is also damaged. This does not affect the functionality of the product.
Whilst the tank is pre-insulated with high density fiberglass, it does not come with an additional insulating jacket.
