This compact and versatile grit bin is ideal for use at home or your business premises. The bin is constructed from durable and fully weatherproof polyethylene and has a recycled black base with the option of either a black or yellow lid.
The lid is angled to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top of the bin, therefore ensuring ease of use even in winter weather and allowing rainwater to run off.
This product has a 50kg capacity and also features integrated moulded finger grips to assist with lifting of the lid.
This grit bin is stackable up to eight high and offers space-saving storage throughout the summer months when not in use. For great economy and savings on delivery, up to 32 grit bins will fit on one standard pallet.
Optional Extras
To keep your stock of grit salt safe and secure from theft, an optional factory fitted hasp and staple is available (padlock not included).
To assist with spreading your grit salt, or for helping transfer it from your grit bin into your salt spreader, we can supply a plastic handheld scoop. The scoop measures 310 x 140 x 185mm.
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 50kg (2 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white rock salt.
Please Note: If you add rock salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the grit bin and within 3-5 working days.
