| The HP 527 Dual Radio 802.11ac Unified Walljack Access Device Series integrates high-speed, wired-wireless connectivity into a low-profile design that can be quickly installed in a standard wall outlet box. It provides one GbE uplink port, three 1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, a dual radio 802.ac/n access point and a pass-through RJ-45 connection to support a range of service and connectivity options. One Ethernet port can be configured as an IEEE 802.3af-compliant PSE port for powering devices such as IP telephones. The walljack provides wireless coverage for one room. Features Integrated High Speed Wired and Wireless Connectivity The HP 527 Dual Radio 802.11ac Unified Walljack Access Device Series integrates one Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) uplink and three GbE ports with 802.11ac connectivity in a single device making them ideal for hotel rooms and dormitories. It supports a dual radio, two spatial stream 802.11ac/n access point, offering 866 Mbps in the 5 GHz frequency band and 300 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band for video applications. It offers high-speed connectivity and extended range with four embedded high gain antennas It provides one GbE uplink, three customer-facing GbE ports and a pass-through RJ45 port to support IPTV, VoIP phones. The series optimizes WLAN performance and reliability with Wi-Fi Clear Connect automatic power adjustment, real-time identification of interference, and intelligent channel switching. Simplified Deployment and Reduced Costs The HP 527 Dual Radio 802.11ac Unified Walljack Access Device Series requires only a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable drop to reduce cabling, switch ports, and power sourcing. It supports a pass-through port as well as PoE out, reducing additional power needs for IP-based VoIP phones. It provides wireless coverage for one room eliminating the need for site surveys. It offers industry leading Limited Lifetime Warranty 2.0 with 3 year 24x7 phone support. Comprehensive Security The HP 527 Dual Radio 802.11ac Unified Walljack Access Device Series protects wireless traffic between authenticated clients and the access point with 802.11X port authentication. It locks out unauthorized wireless access by authenticating users prior to granting network access and secures data integrity of the wireless traffic with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) or Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP). It prevents communication between wireless devices associated with the same access point through local wireless bridge client traffic filtering. Integrated intrusion detection and prevention detects, locates, and mitigates unknown or rogue devices.
