| The QME2572 adapter is designed to meet the demanding business requirements of today’s enterprise data center by minimizing power consumption and maximizing data protection. QLogic’s unique Dynamic Power Management technology reduces power consumption to the lowest possible level, while the adapter’s interface to the host server through a PCIe® Gen2 bus ensures that there are no internal performance bottlenecks. In addition to satisfying the needs of today’s data center through power and virtualization optimization, the QME2572 8Gb adapter provides built-in investment protection by being backward-compatible with previous generations (4Gb and 2Gb) of technology. The adapter also works in both PCI Express® Gen1 and Gen2 host bus interface platforms.
