With the new 650V CoolMOS™ CFDA, Infineon launches its second generation of market leading Automotive qualified high voltage CoolMOS™ MOSFET. In addition to the well-known attributes of high quality and reliability required by the automotive industry, the new CoolMOS™ CFDA series provides now also an integrated Fast Body Diode optimized for the usage in resonant topologies within DC/DC converters, onboard chargers and HID lighting.

With the new 650V CoolMOSTM CFDA Infineon expands its power semiconductor lineup in the Automotive sector. This is the industry’s first Superjunction MOSFET solution with integrated Fast Body Diode. The 650V CoolMOSTM CFDA is particularly designed for resonant topologies such as battery charging, DC/DC converters and HID Lighting.
