The 20/40 GB DLT Tape Drive provides up to 20 GB of native capacity on a single DLT Type IV tape and up to 5.6 GB per hour data transfer rate without compression in native mode. With a 2:1 compression rate the 20/40 GB DLT Tape Drive provides up to 40 GB of backup capacity on a single tape at up to 10.8 GB per hour data transfer rate. The 20/40 GB DLT Tape Drive continues to offer configurations for Compaq Server in tower or rack mount environments, DLT tape array, or as a standalone drive.
