Tool cleaning

Remove as much oil as possible from equipment before cleaning with water

Surface preparation

Ensure timber used in ground contact has been pretreated or sold specifically for use as decking. Remove excessive dirt and soiling, large areas of algae, lichen, fungi or moss with a scraper or stiff brush suitable for use on grooved decking. Treat the surface with a fungicidal wash or cleaner designed for the job. For grey and weathered decking use Cuprinol Decking Restorer to bring back the natural colour. Only suitable for use on bare or previously oiled decking.

Disposal

Don't waste unwanted paint! Leftover product may be taken to a Community RePaint collection point. Make a small difference to someone else at communityrepaint.org.uk

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature

How to use

Shake can well before and frequently during use. Brush on evenly along the grain. Apply a second coat if required once the first coat has penetrated into the wood. Do not allow puddles to form.
