| Designed with Cisco Cloud Scale technology, the 93108TC-EX Switch offers a high performance Layer 2 and Layer 3 feature set in a compact form factor. Its flexible switching platform works in both three-tier and spine-leaf architectures as a leaf node. With the option to operate in Cisco NX-OS or Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) mode, it is ideal for small business, enterprise, and service provider architectures.
The Nexus 93108TC-EX Switch has 48 1/10GBase-T ports that can operate at 100-Mbps, 1-Gbps, and 10-Gbps speeds, and six 40/100-Gbps Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable Plus (QSFP+) uplink ports. All ports are line rate, delivering 2.16 Tbps of throughput in a 1-rack-unit (1RU) form factor. Architectural Flexibility
- Includes top-of-rack or middle-of-row copper-based server access connectivity - Includes a leaf node in a spine-leaf architecture for low-latency traffic flow and reduced convergence time in the event of a failure
Feature-Rich - Includes an enhanced version of Cisco NX-OS Software designed for performance, resiliency, scalability, manageability, and programmability - The ACI-ready hardware infrastructure allows users to take full advantage of an automated, policy-based, systems management approach - Supports virtual extensible LAN (VXLAN) routing - Rich traffic flow telemetry with line-rate data collection - Real-time buffer utilization per port and per queue, for monitoring traffic micro-bursts and application traffic patterns
Real-Time Visibility and Telemetry
- Cisco Tetration Analytics Platform support with built-in hardware sensors for rich traffic flow telemetry and line-rate data collection - Cisco Nexus Data Broker support for network traffic monitoring and analysis - Real-time buffer utilization per port and per queue, for monitor traffic micro-bursts and application traffic patterns
Highly Available and Efficient Design
- High-density, non-blocking architecture - Easily deployed into either a hot-aisle and cold-aisle configuration - Redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fan trays
Simplified Operations - Preboot execution environment (PXE) and Power-On Auto Provisioning (POAP) support allows for simplified software upgrades and configuration file installation - Automate and configure switches with DevOps tools like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible - An intelligent API offers switch management through remote procedure calls (RPCs, JSON, or XML) over a HTTP/HTTPS infrastructure - Python scripting gives programmatic access to the switch command-line interface (CLI) - Includes hot and cold patching, and online diagnostics More information: Logistics data | Harmonized System (HS) code | 85176990 | Security | Access Control List (ACL) | Yes | | Access Control List (ACL) egress | 2000 | | Access Control List (ACL) ingress | 4000 | Design | Rack mounting | Yes | | Form factor | 1U | | Product colour | Grey | Multicast features | Multicast support | Yes | Management features | Switch type | Managed | | Switch layer | L2/L3 | | MIB support | Yes | Performance | Built-in processor | Yes | | Internal memory | 24000 MB | | Flash memory | 128000 MB | | Buffer size | 40000 KB | | Mean time between failures (MTBF) | 319790 h | Weight & dimensions | Width | 439 mm | | Depth | 571 mm | | Height | 44 mm | Operational conditions | Operating temperature (T-T) | 0 - 40 °C | | Operating relative humidity (H-H) | 5 - 95 % | | Operating altitude | 0 - 4000 m | Power | AC input voltage | 100 - 240 V | | AC input frequency | 50 - 60 Hz | | Power consumption (typical) | 276 W | | Power consumption (max) | 460 W | | DC voltage range | -48 - -60 V | Data transmission | MAC address table | 256000 entries | | Switching capacity | 2160 Gbit/s | | Throughput | 850 Mpps | Ports & interfaces | Fiber ports quantity | 54 | | Fiber optic connector | QSFP28 | | Console port | RJ-45 | | USB 2.0 ports quantity | 1 |
