8000T UltraCool

Thermal Transfer Label Can Withstand Temperatures Down to -80°C
The reliable identification of micro-organisms, serum, biological components and lab samples in ultra-low temperature freezer environments is vital to ensuring accurate medical research and efficient laboratory processing. Only select labels can withstand ultralow freezer environments. If the label becomes unreadable or missing, it can impact the success of a clinical trial, or lead to specimen and sample wastage and the need to re-collect and test samples – potentially delaying patient diagnosis and treatment. Zebra’s 8000T UltraCool is a thermal transfer material that requires the use of a ribbon to create a more durable image. It features a specialty low-temperature adhesive for -80°C storage, ensuring critical assets remain identifiable until used, tested, or disposed of.

Reliable readability
When the label is printed with our 5095 high performance resin ribbon and applied to containers that are stored in an ultra-low
temperature freezer, the print will remain legible, ensuring visibility
of the specimen identity over extended periods of time and for
repeated inspections.
