The proximity key is an optional accessory for contact-free arming and disarming of alarm panels, replacing code entry. It allows unique authentication of the user in the alarm system. Easy operation: To arm or disarm the system, you just hold the chip in front of the alarm panel or control panel. The user no longer needs to remember a PIN code, and this makes authorization (authentication) on the system much easier. It is used for easy, convenient arming and disarming of the ABUS alarm systems Secvest 2WAY and Terxon. Installation and programming: The chip key is trained into the alarm panel; the authorization is then programmed directly at the alarm panel. The radio field of the receiver provides the voltage to the proximity key for the code transmission; the key does not need its own battery.
