The EX-47961 RS-232 DTE to DTE Extender can be used for any PC, workstation or server with an RS232 interface. With the EX-47961 you can connect two computers (DTE to DTE). They are equipped with 9 pin sockets, which can be connected directly to the serial RS-232 interfaces of the PC. They extend the RS-232 signals up to a maximum length of 50 meters. A Cat. 5 or 6 network cable is required for transmission between the transmitter and receiver. The EX-47961 operates without a power supply unit. The finger screws can be removed without tools and replaced with the supplied nuts.
