This Faithfull professional quality woodworking vice is manufactured from close grain grey cast iron with steel mainscrews for a long and trouble-free working life. The combination of the accurately machined housing and the solid steel guide rods assures a smooth sliding parallel action for the jaws, free from side or cross deflection. The ‘toe-in’ feature allows the jaws to meet at the top only when fully closed, thus ensuring evenly spread clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece. The vice features an adjustable dog or front stop to create an additional extra wide clamping facility when used in conjunction with a bench stop.
