Buffer/filler material that binds liquids and absorbs impacts for dangerous goods packaging, such as storage/transport containers for rechargeable batteries. Can absorb up to 7 times its own weight. Temperature resistant to more than 1000 °C, not conductive, non flammable, good thermal insulation. Inexpensive, reusable, no limits on storage, harmless to health.

Vermiculite is a natural product and 100% mineral. Non flammable (certified non flammability, building material class A1, DIN 4102). Good insulating effect against heat and cold. Cannot burn - ideal for use as fire protection. Its special structure prevents any damage to objects sensitive to impacts, such as lithium batteries. Escaping liquids (electrolyte from a lithium cell) is absorbed immediately.
