For absorbing and containing viscous oils on water. The outer skin is UV resistant, impact resistant and tear resistant. Spaghetti strip filling. Spaghetti strips increase the surface area - ideal for absorbing thick films of oil and viscous oils. Filled with polypropylene.
Absorbent socks that repel water, but absorb (soak up) oils and hydrocarbons. The outer skin made of mesh fabric and a filling made of spaghetti strips, makes them perfectly suited for the removal of viscous oil on standing or fast flowing water. A rope extends all the way through the mesh covering and ensures stability is maintained when placing and collecting the barriers. The rope can withstand a tensile load of up to 182 kg. Not recommended for use on land. For the following liquids: Motor oil, hydraulic oil, petrol, diesel, petroleum, acetone, ethyl alcohol, toluene, xylene, etc.
