Belt skimmers allow the contamination of emulsions/dispersions by tramp oils to be reduced significantly while retaining the high cooling effect. The use of belt skimmers reduces disposal costs (due to longer cooling lubricant service lives) and extends the service life of machines and filter systems. The growth of bacteria in lubricants is avoided - this extends the service life of cooling lubricants, reduces the risk of skin conditions and decreases the development of smells and vapours. Belt skimmers can be used in industrial processing technology for treating cooling lubricants and for separating oils in waste water treatment, and therefore make a corresponding contribution to implementation of the legal obligations to reduce waste. High efficiency - 99% of all surface oils are removed.

Effective and efficient removal of tramp oils in cooling lubricant tanks, processing and chemical baths, industrial machinery, etc. With an output of 21 litres/hour, the belt skimmer is a real powerhouse. This skimmer can withstand bath temperatures of up to 90 °C, and strong acids or alkaline baths do not damage it. These impressive features make this skimmer indispensable for every industrial enterprise that needs to remove larger quantities of surface oil. Ideal for skimming larger quantities of surface oils in industrial washing machines, trays, pits in steel processing plants, in food processing factories etc. When the pH value differs from the specified corridor, the maximum temperature should be reduced by 10 °C. Includes 1 belt with a loop length of 600 mm. Different loop lengths from 800 to 2000 mm (in increments of 200 mm) can be supplied, please specify in the order text. Skimmer belts can be supplied in standard belt loop lengths in increments of 200 mm. Calculation of the suitable belt loop length (also see the illustration): (H + A) x 2 + 300 mm = belt loop length in mm H = height of tank (mm) A = interval between skimmer and tank (if necessary) Areas of application: - Tramp oils are effectively and efficiently removed from cooling lubricant tanks, process/chemical baths, etc. - Oils floating on the top of cleaning systems (ultrasonic baths, component washing systems, etc.) must be skimmed off for optimal cleaning of parts to be degreased - The removal of oils is legally required before used process water is disposed of from industrial systems - Removing oils before further work processes are carried out is necessary in steel processing plants and in food processing factories
