The soft and smooth polyurethane cap shaped earplug effectively seals the ear canal providing 23 dB CE certified protection, tested to EN 352. Ideal for dirty environments, the pods are simple to push in without the need for rolling down, less handling being typically more hygienic. Low transmission noise through the band improves wearer acceptance. They can be comfortably stored around the neck when not in use, convenient if you move in and out of noisy environments frequently. Whilst they are popular as disposable banded plugs for visitors in areas such as factories, the band is washable and reusable and the 3M™ E-A-RCaps™ replacement pods are replaceable and available to purchase separately.
