The black base, lid and full grit bin are all manufactured from recycled materials. The black material is the same quality as our non-recycled yellow grit bins and will not discolour or deteriorate through long term exposure to the elements. The bin features an angled lid designed to prevent large quantities of snow and ice from settling on top of the bin ensuring easy-of-use throughout the winter months. The angled lid also allows rainwater to run off without forming puddles on top of the bin. The 12 cu ft grit bins are stackable allowing for easy storage when not in use. Forklift channels integrated in the base of the bin makes it easier to move and position when stacked or fully stocked with grit / salt. An optional hasp and staple is available to offer extra security to your grit. Please note, a padlock is not included.
