This grit bin is manufactured from durable, UV-resistant polyethylene and is ideal for clearing snow and ice from hazardous areas around commercial premises. The bin is available in a choice of colours:

The black grit bin, black base and black lid are all manufactured from recycled material. The black material is the same quality as our non-recycled grit bins and will not discolour or deteriorate through long-term exposure to the elements.

This product features an angled lid designed to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top of the bin, therefore ensuring ease of use even in winter weather. The angled lid also allows rainwater to run off.
The 10 cu ft grit bins are inter-stackable and offer compact storage during the summer months when not being used for storing rock salt.
The grit bin is designed with forklift channels which allow easy moving and positioning when the grit bin is full.
Optional Extras
To keep your stock of grit salt safe and secure from theft, an optional factory fitted hasp and staple is available (padlock not included).
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 275kg (11 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white salt.
Please Note: If you add rock salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the grit bin and within 3-5 working days.
