This 14 Cu Ft grit bin is a popular choice and is manufactured from tough and durable, UV-resistant polyethylene which requires very little maintenance.
The bin features a curved lid that is designed to minimise the amount of rain, snow and ice settling on top of the bin, ensuring continued ease of use in winter weather.
These grit bins are stackable making them ideal for storage during the summer months when not being used for storing salt grit.
The design includes two channels beneath the bin which allows the bin to be manoeuvred with a forklift / pallet truck even when full of grit.
Optional Extras
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit box and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

To ensure you are prepared for winter, we can supply this salt bin with 350 kg (14 x 25 kg bags) of either brown or white salt.
Please note that if you add grit salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the salt bins, in approximately 10-15 working days.
