Manufactured in the UK from tough, durable, UV-stable polyethylene, it features a double-skinned lid with full-width opening to ensure ease of use.
The Boss Grit Bin is designed with an angled lid to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top, ensuring ease of use in winter weather. Also built into the design are channels for lifting either with a pallet truck or a forklift. This ensures the grit box can be easily moved even when fully-stocked with grit salt.
The large 400 litre grit bins are stackable making them an ideal option for storage throughout the summer months when not in use. Due to their sizes these salt bins are perfect for use on larger premises such as schools, factories, car parks and warehouses.
Optional Extras
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

To ensure you are prepared for winter, we can supply this salt bin with 400 kg (16 x 25 kg bags) of either brown or white salt. Please note that if you add grit salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the grit bin, in approximately 10-15 working days.
