Our silver granite gabion stone is a beautiful, strong stone. Its silver/grey flecked stones improve the look of almost any outdoor area. As well as looking eye-catching, these stones are fish friendly are a perfectly suited for use in water features, reservoirs, ponds and more.
Its angular shape lends itself well to filling gabion baskets, allowing them to stack and interlock with ease and can also be used in erosion control systems due to these stones durability.
Each stone is between 100-200mm in length and approximately 1.7 tonnes of stone should cover one cubic metre.
Please note that our bags are overfilled to 930kg to compensate for any smaller stone or debris that may have been included during production.
Due to the nature of this product, our gabion stones will be unclean upon arrival. However, a quick hose down or rain show will remove the surface debris.
Delivery Information
Please note the delivery cost for these products is calculated at the checkout due to varying prices depending upon the delivery postcode. If you are planning on placing an order by purchase order, please double check the carriage cost via the checkout before submitting your order.
Our standard delivery method is a kerbside service fulfilled by a pallet network. As a kerbside delivery service, the driver will have access to a pallet truck, but is not permitted to move the goods across your property once offloaded.
For orders of ten or fewer units, delivery shall be made by a tail-lift vehicle. Please make sure there is a flat and clear area to drop the goods, as well as sufficient access for the vehicle to manoeuvre. Insufficient access may result in a failed delivery.
Once your order has been placed, we shall be in contact within 1-5 working days to provide a delivery date. Please note that a signature may be required for delivery to be completed.
Should you require a vehicle with a crane to lift over a hedge, fence or other obstruction, one can be requested for an additional cost. Please contact our sales team prior to placing your order for a full quotation should you require a crane-lift, or if you have any other requests or requirements.
Please be aware that failed delivery may incur a re-delivery charge.
