Designed for striking and paring, the hardwood handle provides a comfortable feel that transfers energy effectively when struck by a mallet. It also provides a wide butt end, or large sweet spot, for striking accuracy.They have high quality EN31 carbon steel blades with narrow side bevels which flatten and sharpen quickly and give a durable cutting edge which is ideal for woodworkers.The hardwood socket handles are replaceable and require setting prior to use.
