The Inky pHAT is a versatile, low-energy electronic paper display for your Raspberry Pi. Featuring a beautiful red, black and white 2.13", 212 x 104 pixel electronic paper display that is ideal for displaying simple graphics and crisp, easy to read text that is even readable in bright sunlight. There are many uses for the Inky pHAT - how about a nice little desk unit that will display a clock, or tweets, or how about the weather , news headlines, sports updates, and much more. It's also ideal for displaying data from remote sensors, CPU loads or temperature, and make sure you keep an eye on those stock prices. The Inky pHAT uses ingenious electrophoresis to pull coloured particles up and down on the display. The coloured particles reflect light, meaning that they are visible even under bright lights. It all comes fully-assembled, not even any soldering to do! The display is securely fixed to the Inky pHAT PCB and connected via a ribbon cable. All you have to do is pop the pHAT onto your Pi and run the installer to get everything shipshape. The Python library takes the stress out of displaying text and images on Inky pHAT, and examples include a cute clock and weather display. |
