Scola acrylic is a highly versatile water-based acrylic paint made using only pure acrylic resin. It is easy to use and free-flowing, with strong colours that dry to a glossy and flexible finish. It retains brush strokes and basic colours can be mixed and blended. Its thick, creamy consistency allows easy use of a palette knife for impasto work.Scola acrylic paint can be thinned down for water colour techniques, staining and dry brush work. It is suitable for use on paper, card, canvas, ceramic and wood that doesn't contain wax or oil. All colours are intermixable and can be used straight from the bottle or diluted with water. Scola acrylic acts as an adhesive and also makes a good surface for drawing on with graphite and oil pastels.
