Its virtually maintenance-free and designed to last, even in heavy-duty environments. The transformer has a continuously variable alternating current (AC) voltage and an overvoltage tap for regulation. Its highly efficient, thanks to a low magnetising current and low operating torque. A silver-plated commutator removes waveform distortion and makes for a smooth linear output. Its fitted with a clockwise knob and dial thats simple and easy to operate. This single-phase, 15 A variable transformer can be used for flash-mounting in process control equipment, enclosures and control panels. For safety, it has built-in overload capacity as standard. As part of the RS PRO range, its been stringently tested for quality and reliability.
