Switches can be implemented and changed easily and circuits can be built over multiple grids. At the end of each grid is a red and a black power rail, which can be quickly connected to the terminal connections at the top of the board. The five colour-coded screw terminals can be used to connect the breadboard to a power supply and will accept a 4 mm banana plug, a Y-terminal or a stripped wire. This prototyping breadboard is suitable for building temporary advanced circuits to try out ideas and test components.
