RS PRO 807 mW Batten Mount Presence Detector, PIR, Ceiling Mount, 230 V acDesigned for mounting onto a batten-style luminaire, you can use this miniature passive infrared (PIR) presence detector to turn lights on and off automatically. It will switch on and off all kinds of lighting, including incandescent, fluorescent and LED bulbs. The batten-mounted PIR detector activates the light when it senses movement and switches it off after a 10-minute time-out period once the area is vacated. Its supplied with a selection of fixing washers, so you can secure it to the outside of a variety of luminaires. The casing is IP65-rated, meaning its dust-tight and protected from water spray. This switch is CE certified as safe and meets EMC-2004/108/EC on electromagnetic compatibility. It conforms to LVD-2006/95/EC as a safe low-voltage appliance and complies with ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007, meaning it wont harm equipment via electrostatic discharge.
