This economical lamp is made from a tube of doped quartz measuring 10 mm in diameter. Doping means that its been fused with cerium oxide to filter out all UV radiation. In addition, the red colour reduces glare to the eyes. The heat lamp is extremely efficient and easy to run, giving almost instant heating the moment its powered on. Its designed to work with universal mounting orientations. As part of the RS PRO range, this product has been thoroughly tested for durability and consistency.
