ATEX Approved The Micro and Mini torches are ATEX and IECEx certified and therefore suitable for use in potentially explosive gas, vapour, mist or dusty atmospheres, where a T4 or T5 temperature class permits. The Micro and Mini torches are made using a thermoplastic resin which is rugged and great for chemical resistance. The torch lens is made from polycarbonate and it is set back within the torch, to prevent damage. Is it waterproof? This torch is rated to IP67 and therefore water and dust tight.
