FFSMC Float Switch (Submerged). FFSMC submerged-type float switches may be used in environments where wide and/or rapid fluctuations in ambient fluid temperature occur. The blue polyurethane-bodied model ( ; 361-1833 361-1833 ) is suitable for use within sewers and industrial waste systems. The design incorporates a self-weighted cable end float switch for use within turbulent industrial fluids and fluids with suspended agglomerates, such as sewer water. The red-bodied model ( ; 361-1849 361-1849 ) is suitable for use in with fuel oils, such as diesel.
