RS PRO Wall PIR Switch Detector, PIR, Wall Mount, 220 to 240 V acThe RS PRO wall switch detector uses a passive infrared sensor to work out whether someone is in the room and can also detect when its getting dark. Its suitable for both residential and commercial settings, such as offices, retail units and warehouses. This device is capable of switching on up to 10 A of electricity output for traditional incandescent light bulbs or 6 A with fluorescent lighting. The sensor uses body heat to detect occupancy at distances of up to seven metres. It also offers an adjustable time period of up to 30 minutes, so appliances wont switch off while an area is still occupied. For easy assembly, it can be installed flush or mounted onto the surface of any standard British back box with a depth greater than 25 mm.
