RS PRO Horizontal Float Switch, Stainless Steel, Direct Load, Float, 300 mm, 300 VThis RS PRO float switch detects the rise or fall of liquid in tanks or other containers. It will trigger a pump, alarm or some other peripheral device when it reaches a certain level. The switch mounts horizontally and the units right-angled stem makes it suitable for shallower environments. This also means you can mount it at the top or bottom of your tank. With a direct-load, single-pole, single-throw (SPST) output, theres one input and output terminal – useful for simple on-off switches. It features a robust 300 mm cross-linked polyurethane (XLPE) cable and has an internal wire size of 22 AWG. A durable silicone washer prevents the float from leaking and it has a corrosion-resistant stainless steel body. The device will operate safely from -10°C to +120°C.
