RS PRO DVI-D to SVGA Converter RS PRO introduces the DVI-D to SVGA Converter perfect for all your home and professional audio needs. A digital to analogue converter or DAC is able to capture and supports resolutions up to 1080p. RS PRO has designed these digital to analogue converters to have a black ABS shell and nickel connectors to provide long-lasting and durable DACs. DVI-D is a digital only connection and cannot be used with a VGA monitor unless it is actively converted to an analogue signal. DVI-I can carry either digital or analogue signal, the graphics cards controls the signal type. DVI-D and DVI-I are also split into two types of cable, dual link and single link. Dual link has all the pins connected to achieve higher resolutions whereas single link may have the physical pins present but some will not be connected inside the cable.
