The RS Pro SSR4030-A-3P3 motor soft starters are used to eliminate the start-up shock-load characteristics of Direct On Line (DOL) and Star-Delta Starters commonly used in industrial applications. By eliminating the shock loading the machine and its drive train, and other mechanical linkages are protected from damage and premature wear. Also, by using the Voltage Limiting function it is possible to limit the motors inrush current to avoid exceeding any site maximum demand limit. These Soft-Starters are used with Fans, Blenders, Pumps, Crushers, Compressors, Conveyors, Screw Presses, Hoists. The Economic alternative to Variable Speed Drives (Inverters) when a motor is run at its synchronous speed.3-Phase control In-built bypass relay RS485 bus communications interface High degree of motor protection Wide motor voltage range Control voltage 100 – 240Vac
