Souriau Circular ConnectorThe Souriau UTG series 4-contacts female plastic circular connector has a socket type connection. This flange mount connector has a current rating of 13A per contact. It has a 1/3 bayonet coupling to quickly connect the system and secure connection due to an audible click which guarantees the proper connection. The connector has a rugged and robust design made from glass-filled polyester with a nickel-plated to resist every environmental and mechanical requirement for indoor and outdoor applications. The shell material is glass filled thermoplastic, with a rated operating temperature ranges between -55°C and 125°C. Contacts to be ordered separately. Cable mounting shells are supplied with metal PG tube, containing twin ferrule system for 360° cable shield continuity. The 2 shells are polarised and locked together by a bayonet action metal ring. The COM8-1 tool 266-6860, provides an 8-point impression crimp assuring maximum tensile strength on wire sizes up to 2.5mm². The cycle controlled, precision ratchet assures consistent and accurate crimping over many operations. Note: Panel mounting plug shells with pin inserts will only mate with cable-mounting shells with socket inserts and panel mount shells with socket inserts will only mate with cable-mounting plug shells with pin inserts.
