It works by injecting direct current into your AC motors winding. This neutralises the electromagnetic field and stops the motor from rotating. These products are generally used as an alternative to a friction braking system. Youll find them in industrial settings like factories and workshops. This brake module is compact and mounts onto a 35 mm symmetrical DIN (Deutsche Institut für Normung or German Institute of Standardisation) rail. You can adjust the braking time and torque to achieve optimal braking performance to suit your equipment. The braking function will generally start within 0.6 seconds. Its suitable for use with a range of equipment that stops slowly, such as mechanical saws and rolling mills.
