It covers the latch of the plug, so the fragile parts wont snag on other wires while still operating effectively. The registered jack (RJ) connector hood will accept standard 4-pair UTP and STP (unshielded and shielded) twisted-pair cables for LAN networks. Its compatible with multi-port socket harmonica blocks.
