The nuts box is made of durable polypropylene, so its sturdy enough for use in industrial or factory conditions. Nyloc nuts have a nylon collar that increases friction on the screw thread to make them self-locking, so they wont come loose when they experience vibration from motors or contraction and expansion from heat or cold. Theyre made of A4 (316) stainless steel, so they can be used in harsh environments, such as marine settings. Highly abrasion-resistant, they can also withstand corrosive liquids or chemicals. The nuts are suitable for use with ISO metric machine-threaded screws or bolts and accept standard metric spanners or sockets.
