I.E.E Force Sensitive Resistors - FSR. Introducing I.E.E strain gauges, they have been created and designed to measure the strain and force of an item. The gauge sticks to an item, as it deforms the electrical resistance changes - this process can sometimes be referred to as the "gauge factor". FSR stands for force sensitive resistor The sensors feature an ohmic resistor whose resistive value decreases when pressure is applied.
