| L78M Series Linear Voltage Regulator, STMicroelectronics. The L78M series positive linear voltage regulators by STMicroelectronics all have fixed voltage outputs from 5V up to 24 V with a 500mA current output. They are three terminal regulator ICs that are available in a range of packages from TO220, DPAK and IPAK. These devices are suitable for use in many applications including local on-card regulation and power distribution systems. The internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe operating area protection make them durable.
