The ASF series PCB mount slide switches are for auto insertion on standard IC equipment. These PCB mount slide switches are vertical mounting with natural coloured actuators which are side or top oriented. What is DPDT?. DPDT is a Double Pole, Double Throw switch, it adds another pole to the SPDT switch. Single pole refers to the number of individual circuits you are switching and the throw is how many connections you are making on each of the poles, so the DPDT can control two separate circuits. It's similar to having two separate SPDT switches in one configuration operating at the same time.
