The aluminium alloy is an excellent heat and electricity conductor and has a thermal conductivity of 180 W/mk. The bar is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and, as part of the RS PRO series, has been stringently quality-tested. The metal bar comes in 1-metre lengths with a width of 20 mm and thickness of 10 mm.
