A PCB evaluation module from Figaro for use with the TGS3870 methane and carbon monoxide gas sensor (RS ; 134-6655 134-6655 ). Testing of the sensor is simplified by using a continuous output signal generated by this module. The operating mode of TGS3870 uses a 20-second heater cycle for intermittent detection, but with this evaluation module the intermittent sensor response is converted into a continuous output voltage by the software contained in the module's microprocessor.
