This square-shaped ESD bin is ideal to use in situations where a metal or rubber bin would be unsuitable. Its made from conductive polypropylene plastic and once grounded it can be used in ESD (electrostatic discharge) protected environments, such as electronics workshops. It has a 40-litre capacity and has two built-in handles, making it easy to lift. Its empty weight is 3 kg and its suitable for use with bin liners. The bin comes marked with the ESD symbol, so its ready for use at your workstation and clean rooms where printed circuit boards, microchips and OLEDs (organic light-emitting diodes) are manufactured. It conforms to ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 electrostatic control standards.
