Compared to aluminium electrolytic or tantalum capacitors, these multilayer ceramic capacitors maintain a small case size while offering high rated voltage options. This series offers low ESR and excellent noise absorption characteristics. Taiyo Yuden MLCCs have a monolithic structure and feature higher insulation resistance and breakdown voltage allowing for greater reliability. Taiyo Yuden multilayer ceramic capacitors are suitable for use in general electronics equipment including office automation, household goods and audio visual equipment. Other applications include telecommunication equipment such as PCs, tablets, smartphones and wireless applications.
